Throughout the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic, our healthcare workers and first responders have been pushed to the brink of severe and unprecedented physical and psychological exhaustion. Extended times of stress can have long lasting damaging effects on one’s physical and mental health. Effects can range from fatigue, memory issues, poor sleeping patterns, poor appetite and digestion, muscle pain and tension, headaches, high blood pressure, decreased immune response and in extreme situations PTSD.

Working in highly demanding environments that may cause traumatic exposure such as an Intensive Care Unit and / or emergency situations that call upon the aid of fire department, police and EMS can take their toll on all front line personnel involved.

At Lymph Balance Centre, we recognize the sacrifices all front line, healthcare workers and first responders have been making on a daily basis and we THANK YOU! We also recognize their need for some much needed self-care!
