The great part about receiving massage and other therapeutic treatments is that it helps you rest, and relax your nervous system, therefore helping to increase your immune system and fight off infections. Receiving Lymph Drainage Therapy is more effective in boosting your lymphocyte production (lymph/immune cells that help fight off pathogens) and help in their circulation around the body. You will sleep better, you will rest and recover better, and have more energy to be strong in the face of viruses, bacteria and other pathogens.

We at Lymph Balance take cleanliness and sanitation very seriously. In case you have never seen the workings of a massage therapy clinic, I would like to share with you our general protocols to keep our staff, clients and visitors safe.

Before a therapists touches a client, we wash our hands thoroughly with soap and hot water, for a minimum of 30 seconds. We also wash our hands, thoroughly again, after every session, for at least 30 seconds. Addditonally, therapists never touch their face in any way, during a session ,and if they need to, they will excuse themselves to re-wash their hands before continuing the session.

All sheets, linens, face cradle covers, and towels are washed in hot water, with detergent, and then dried in our high capacity laundry set, onsite.
All surfaces are wiped down with sanitizer, including door knobs, light switches, POS machine, tablets, chair arm rests and table tops. Massage Tables are cleaned with sanitizer as well, with emphasis on the armrests and face cradle.

We diffuse THIEVES essential oil throughout the clinic, in times when Colds and Flus are more prevalent.

Any staff member who is feeling ill, is not treating or working with clients, and we ask that clients who are ill, do not come in for treatment.

If a therapist has a small cut, hang nail or anything on their hands, they are either not provide treatment, or will wear nitril gloves, to protect themselves, and their clients.

We welcome any questions you may have about our procedures, and how we make ourselves a safe location to receive treatment and to take care of yourself.
